How to Open Directly in Acrobat

Here’s how to configure your system to open all LactForms PDFs directly in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app/program when clicking on the filename:

PC/Windows

1. Select the Start button on the far left side of the toolbar:

2. Select Settings:

3. Select Apps:

4. Select Default apps:

5. Scroll to the bottom of Default apps to Related settings:

6. Select Choose defaults by file type:

7. Scroll down to .pdf:

8. Select Choose a default:

9. Select Adobe Acrobat Reader (or Adobe Acrobat):

10. Select Set default:

1. Single click any PDF file while holding the Control key.

2. Select Get Info:

3. Select the Open With dropdown menu:

4. Select Adobe Reader:

5. Select Change All to apply this change to all future PDF documents:

6. Select Continue to finish.
